Like sleeping in a public bath, in a room filled with rows and rows of neatly laid out Japanese men who have just been bathing together.
To sweeten the deal, the lights are kept on, dim, and there is crazy Japanese TV playing on big screens on the wall… you know, to help you sleep. It was a vision of the future.
Easily one of the most surreal images I’ve ever seen… peaceful and wise, like a Bonsai tree. And also very very creepy. After all, these guys look at things like this all day…
…so who knows what could happen by morning?
